Title says it all. But there's still something to say.
Every night, I'm reminded, by the simple act of trying to sleep, of much happier moments, when my dearest friend was the last thing I saw before sleep overcame me.
I do miss those times, but I don't let it keep me from living in the present.
Instead, I let it remind me that there are some truly wonderful things in this world. One of them is having a true friend, someone you'd trust with anything. You don't come by that too often, but it's something to cherish when you do. And that's what this little ritual each night is all about. Cherishing a friendship I wouldn't give the world for.
